Service overview
We specialise in treating musculoskeletal problems affecting joints, ligaments, muscles, tendons, and nerves. These injuries may result from trauma, such as a fall or sports accident, or from overloading the body before it is ready, like running too far too soon.
Physiotherapy is not only for when you are injured or in pain—it can also prevent problems by identifying and addressing physical weaknesses, reducing your risk of future injury, especially when starting a new activity.
Whether you’re dealing with pain from desk work, recovering from a sporting injury, or aiming to improve your strength and performance, we are here to support you.

What to expect?

Initial Assessment
In your first session, your physiotherapist will ask about your current problem, how it affects your daily activities, any past injuries, your overall health, and your personal goals.

Examination & Findings
A physical examination will be carried out to identify the structures causing pain and explore contributing factors such as muscle weakness, posture, or biomechanical issues. Your physiotherapist will then explain the findings and outline possible treatment approaches.

Treatment Plan & Follow-Up
A personalised treatment plan will be developed to work towards your goals. Follow-up sessions will continue the treatment process, with progress reviewed and the plan adjusted as needed.
Treatments available
Manual & hands-on treatments – Techniques such as joint mobilisations, manipulations, massage, and soft tissue release help restore movement, reduce pain, and relax tight muscles. Acupuncture/needling and shockwave therapy can also be used to stimulate healing and aid recovery from tendon or muscle problems.
Exercise & movement rehabilitation – Tailored exercise programmes focus on strengthening, stretching, and mobilising specific areas. Movement analysis and correction improve posture, alignment, and performance while reducing the load on sensitive tissues.
Education & specialist options – Understanding your condition is key to long-term recovery. You’ll receive clear advice on diagnosis, contributing factors, and self-management strategies. Specialist treatments are also available, including a cycle clinic for cycling-related issues and ultrasound-guided injections for persistent pain that interferes with rehabilitation.
